from the Callaway Weekly Gazette, Fulton, Callaway County, Missouri
(www.rootsweb.com/~mocallaw/obits.html) Died, in this county, on Nov. 9, 1881, Angeline B. McCall, wife of James E. McCall, in the sixty-third year of her age. She was born in Franklin County, Virginia, on September 15, 1818. She had been a devoted member of the Old Baptist Church for over twenty years. She was beloved by the whole community, and will be sadly missed by her family, to whom she was ever kind and affectionate. She was the mother of eleven children, all of whom are grown. Deeply do we sympathize with the grief-stricken husband and children in this sad bereavement. Yes, dear Aunt Ann, thou art absent from us, but not lost, only gone before to that sunbright clime on the evergreen shore.
She is waiting by the river;
Just across the silvery stream,
where flowers are ever blooming
and banks are ever green,
Where no shrill blasts of winter
Blight the rosy blossoms fair,
but where all is love and sunshine
She is waiting for us there.
